FORMULA E, START THE COUNTDOWN ALL THE NEWS OF THIS SEASON 2018-2019
New and very interesting developments are the ones that await us in this new 2018-2019 season that begins precisely tomorrow , December 15, 2018 .
It will be the 5th season of the Electric Car Championship , organized by the International Automobile Federation.
One of the novelties of this FIA Formula E Championship is that we will see the new and long-awaited second generation Spark SRT05 chassis in action . Since its inauguration in 2014 they had not changed it and it is one of the most anticipated novelties for this season. The Spark SRT05 was presented by Nico Rosberg at the Berlin ePrix this year.

THE NEW CHANGES IN THE EQUIPMENT
BMW OFFICIALLY WITH ANDRETTI
A big news is that BMW finally joins Formula E as the official manufacturer of the Andretti team .
NISSAN REPLACES RENAULT
Nissan will replace Renault this season, so DAMS will prepare better and focus on Formula 1.
HWA ENTERS FORMULA E
HWA intends to officially join in the next 2019-2020 season , until then it will partner with Mercedes-Benz .
TECHEETAH OFFICIAL TEAM
After their association with DS Automobiles , the Techeetah will be an official team, but first they will participate in the category with the Virgin team .
VIRGIN RACING GOES TO AUDI
After leaving to be part of the DS Automobiles team , Virgin Racing will officially go to Audi .
CHANGES IN THE PILOTS FOR THE 2018-2019 SEASON
NEW ENTRIES
Alexander Sims will make his debut in Formula E with the Andretti team .
Felipe Massa will also debut in Formula E with Panasonic Jaguar Racing , replacing Tom Dillmann who passes to NIO .
Sotffel Vandoorne will debut in this category with HWA , after two years in F1 with McLaren.
Pascal Wehrlein will also debut in Formula E with the Mahindra Racing team . But in the first race it will be replaced by Felix Rosenqvist .
SUBSTITUTIONS AND ABANDONMENTS
Robin Frijns , expilot of Andretti , replaces Alex Lynn in the Virgin .
Maximilian Günther replaces d’Ambrosio in Dragon .
Oliver Rowland , leaves Mahindra to join Nissan , Alexander Albon takes his place.
Jérôme d’Ambrosio leaves Dragon after four seasons, to join Mahindra .
Nicolas Prost left NISSAN e.dams.
Antonio Fuoco will be a test and reserve driver for Dragon Racing .
Simona de Silvestro will be a test pilot for Venturi and Daniel Juncadella of HWA .
RACES CALENDAR FORMULA E 2018-2019
The circuits of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia , Sanya of China and Bern in Switzerland will be the new scenarios that will debut in Formula E. With respect to the previous season, Monaco is being included and Punta del Este will not participate.
The race programmed in the Santiago de Chile Forest Park circuit will be changed to the O’Higgins Park circuit .
